Linda Goss is a multimedia artist sharing her talents in drawing, etching, painting, printmaking, pottery and jewelry, drawing much of her inspiration from patterns in nature. She grew up in Bay City, Michigan and attended Western Michigan University. There she earned her B.S. degree with a major and minor in art and a Michigan teaching certificate for K-12 art.
Linda was born an artist. Her first grade teacher said that she was always drawing. As an art teacher herself, she learned a variety of mediums and techniques to share with her students. Linda began her teaching career in the Midland/Bay City and migrated her way across the state, finally settling in Spring Lake and teaching at Grand Haven Public Schools and West Michigan Academy for Arts & Academics. While teaching a variety of age groups in the school, she most enjoyed the high school and college students. She found their ideas innovative and fresh and their artwork, in many cases, rivaled that of the professionals.
Linda is also a member of the Lakeshore Visual Arts Collective.
